Mobile Printer Scanner

By

So you are always on the run whether it is for business or family activities. You need a simple yet effective solution to your printing problems. You would like it to be somewhat portable, easy to use, and hassle free, without the need for constant installations from one computer to the other. If you walk into a hotel, you will find areas to access the internet or use a computer, but when do you ever find a printer? If you are out to a meeting, or a last minute call I’m pretty sure you won’t put your 50 pound printer in a backpack and go.

I definitely wouldn’t, and that’s why I decided to purchase my first mobile printer scanner. I went around, checked out the many ads online and found the printer that best suited me. I would recommend you do the same because, in lamest terms, these little machines are awesome!

So now that I have stated the obvious, let’s get into some information that you might actual find helpful. If you are on this page, you are (most likely) already looking for a mobile printer. Maybe even with a scanner built in.

In the past couple of years all major computer companies and some specialized printer companies have made it a main priority to launch a portable printer. They came out with a tiny portable computer with wireless internet, now they have went an extra mile and came out with a printer. Who are we to stop them from making our lives easier, right?

Let’s take a look at some of the better printers out there. Why go about taking a shot in the dark when you can get a review from a current consumer of these machines.

The HP Mobile Printer line holds some of the best mobile printers on the market. More specifically, the one I have, which is the Officejet H470 mobile printer with color printing capability, priced at $250. It is about five pounds, known as one of the fastest if not the fastest mobile printers created to date. You can go about printing work from almost anything. Include computers, cameras, memory cards, camera phones, and PDAs. It prints photos from sizes ranging from 4x6 to 8.5x11. The features packed into this printer are more than suitable for my requirements.

Other printers that match its quality includes the following mobile printer and scanners.

  • The Greta, a mobile printer, scanner, and fax machine with GMS connectivity all jam packed into one. So not only will you be able to print on the go, you can also send a last minute fax from any location. I think this is awesome, but I figured I can live without it.
  • The Cannon Pixma i90 mobile printer, a lighter version of the HP Officejet printer mentioned above, from a very reputable company. This printer weighs 4.4 pounds.

Go about browsing around online. Check out the servers about in reputable sources online. Checkout the features in depth and choose on that meets your standards. Be prepared to pay anywhere from $150-$350 for the mobile printer or scanner of your liking.
